Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These terms cover your use of InvoiceExtract AI while it is in beta. They are written in plain language and are intentionally straightforward. Please read them before using the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using InvoiceExtract AI (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Note · TODO: final legal review before launch.

2. Description of the service

InvoiceExtract AI is an AI-assisted tool that helps you convert invoices, receipts, and similar documents into editable, spreadsheet-ready data such as CSV and Excel files. You upload or select a document, the Service produces a draft extraction, and you review and export the results.

3. Beta disclaimer

The Service is provided as an early-stage beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and availability is not guaranteed. You should not rely on the Service for any critical or time-sensitive workflow without an independent backup process.

4. Accuracy disclaimer

AI-assisted extraction may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect. You MUST verify all extracted data before relying on it. Always review every extracted field — vendor, dates, tax, totals, and line items — against the original document before using the results for accounting, payments, reporting, or any other purpose.

5. Not professional advice

InvoiceExtract AI is a data-conversion utility. It does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and its output is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you use the extracted data and for ensuring it meets your own compliance and recordkeeping requirements.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload content you do not have the right to process;
  • break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits or security of the Service; or
  • resell or misrepresent the Service as your own without permission.

For guidance on sensitive documents during the beta, please also see our Privacy Policy.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. In plain English: we are doing our best, but we cannot promise the Service will always work or that its output will be correct.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceExtract AI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service or its output. In plain English: you use the tool at your own risk, and you remain responsible for checking the results.

9. Advertising and affiliate disclosure (future)

We may display advertisements or affiliate links on free or public (SEO) pages in the future. If we do, this will be clearly disclosed, and any affiliate relationship does not change the price you pay for third-party products or services.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
